2026 Class Schedule and Registration will be announced very soon! 

Online Classes will be held in conjunction with the 2 day in-person classes. When you register, you will be asked to select in person or online and if you select online we will send you the Zoom link and instructions.

It’s that time of the year again for renewal of your State license with the Electrical Contractors Licensing Board (ECLB). All of the required classes will be included in this year’s two-day seminar schedule which are FREE to all ECF members.

ECLB  requires eleven (11) hours of continuing education for most license holders and the current renewal period ends on August 31, 2026. These hours must be comprised of:

• Six hours are on technical subjects plus:
• One hour on Workers' Compensation
• One hour on Workplace Safety
• One hour on Business Practices
• One hour of Florida Laws  & Rules
• One hour Florida Building Code

Also, contractors who are engaged in alarm system contracting must take a two-hour False Alarm Prevention course. Please check your specific license type for additional hours or requirements. 

If you need continuing education for your State license during the September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2026 renewal cycle, your ECF membership will pay for itself.

If you are not a member of ECF, now is the time to join and attend these classes for FREE or you are welcome to attend for $25.00 per class hour.
